Well built

Adds functionality to your Surefire setup with on/off/momentary remote controls. As with all Surefire products is built with obviously high quality and durability in mind. Not cheap, but works perfectly and has a solid feel. If there was a lockout on it it would be perfection.

Review for
AXIL XCOR Pro Hearing Protection Ear Buds
Used a couple of times now, these are great. Be mindful to choose the right foam size. Easy to set up, with the only odd thing that if you touch the earpiece to re-adjust it you can inadvertently turn it off. Not a huge thing. I'd prefer an actual button to push for on-off, but it's not a big knock.
The actual hearing protection is superb, and the fidelity of the amplified sounds is very good. Fits solidly in the ear when moving. Had no problem or worry about them dropping out.

Works great w/ my astigmatism
Written on Mar 30, 2024
Was initially put off by the battery life compared to a standard red dot, but my astigmatism leading the red dot to look like a chevron, and me guessing which dot was the real one let me to try the holographic, and it works great.
The unit itself zeroed very quickly and easily with the exposed knobs and positive adjustments. I put a magnifier behind it and it lined up perfectly. Very easy to switch. I struggled trying to zero the red dot but realized that my eyes just weren't cut out for it. The circle-dot reticle for me is very quick and easy to use, and the transition was not hard.
Using for carbine classes and general purposes.

Excellent Fixed-Mag Option
Written on Mar 29, 2024
IMO the ECOS CH, with the extended subtension lines, is the most favorable option. Once you are used to the eye relief, this setup works great, particularly for people with enough astigmatism to make a magnified red-dot annoying to use. Can't say enough about the quality of the product, and is obviously tough enough for any civilian use. Also looks great on the rifle.

Incredible quality - obvious attention to detail
Written on Mar 17, 2024
PWS needs no endorsement from me, but the quality out of the box is obvious. Wipe down the assembly oil and the quality of the anodizing and forging is obvious. Wanted something ideal for suppression that would be super reliable with minimal fuss and dirt. Haven't tested accuracy yet but it shoots super flat and zeroing with a red dot was very easy. The 16" length and PWS compensator results in almost zero rise. There is a somewhat distinct recoil impulse but it doesn't move the rifle around.

Great precise product

One of the best, if not the best, non-QD cantilevered scope mounts available for the price. The placement of the ring clamps make them easy to install and work with. Very well made product regardless of the price.

Perfectly rugged and simple

This RCO model includes the flash hider and mount. Got it with the red chevron, which in my opinion works reasonably well for close shots once you've practiced on it if you don't have access to a mounted red dot. I ended up buying a rear-shifting mount to help with eye relief given the fixed stock I have to have in NJ. Thought about the TA02 but liked the lower weight of this option.
If this is your first ACOG you will be impressed by the build quality. Recommend learning about how to use the range estimation and BDC features of the reticle. Nothing is without compromises, but well worth the money.
