Brighter than the P60 head the Nitrolon G2 originally came with. I wish the Surefire LED replacement head for the Nitrolon G2 did not cost so much or I would have gone in that direction to help with battery life. I noted the original incandescent head gets dimmer over time. One would not notice this unless one has a second light to compare to. Yes, it is worth replacing with the upgraded P61 head, just be aware of shortened battery life if you use the twist on feature of the G2. Use the push button to extent serviceable life of both batteries and light head.
