It was a huge upgrade on my 2311 Girsan 10mm 6 inch Hunter. It is a pinned sight so be prepared. And no pin comes with the sight. My gun had no hole either so I had to drill it. Note to self. Mark the hole with the sight on then remove the sight and finish the slide hole without the sight installed because if you break a drill bit off with the sight on its a real pain. Ask me how I know. And I knew better but the bit was cutting like a red squirrel then it wasn't. Lol
I needed to change the factory trigger because the factory trigger shoe was too long for my hands and hard to reach comfortably. This took some fitting like most custom parts, but now it's way better and comfortable to shoot.
I picked this up for my Girsan Hunter 10mm to replace the loose bushing from the factory. The factory bushing was so loose that no wrench was needed, loose in the slide and on the barrel. This bushing fit out of the box, tight but not too tight it needed fitting or any work. You need a wrench, but it's just perfect. That's how loose the factory sent that out. At 20yds pie plate groups. This should help enough to be confident to hunt with. Before not so much. Trigger is another story. But that's fixed too. Thank you, OP.
This is a great looking sight, and let me say I have not installed it yet, and I may not. I may just send it back. There is no roll pin included with the sight, and you can't reuse the one you drive out because it is compressed and abused, and it will back out if you do. Please OP, next time in the description, say! "No Roll pin included!!"Try finding a roll pin that small at your local hardware store.
After waiting on this to arrive when they showed it in stock it was not and op had to wait on them to arrive. This has a major qc defect. The threaded insert was what looks like cross threaded and aluminum sticking out of the hole on the front scope ring. This is for a new build with a very expensive scope to be mounted but not with this. Not ever.
