At the price point that I like to stay under for my hunting scopes (under $1k), it's hard to beat the Vortex Viper series of scopes. They have great glass that provide exceptional clarity as you try to squeeze in 5 minutes of early or late light. This Viper HD is my favorite so far. I can easily get on target and with the 25x zoom I can reach out several hundred yards. The experience with OP is always great and the sitewide sale actually applied to Vortex scopes this time! That was a win as it saved an additional $95!

Vortex Viper 6.5-20x50 Rocks!

I mounted this scope on my Weatherby with the medium Talley mounts and took it right to the range. This scope is crisp and clear out to 200 yards so far. It only took a few shots to zero this scope in. It is incredibly accurate. Once I get it out to the lease. I will check it at low light and further distance and report back. So far, so good!
