i have only dry fired with this so far but it has been good. Definitely lightweight, kept my gun feeling like a feather. very easy to install with the mounting hardware. no need for end plate or castle nut; screws right in. keep in mind that the cheek weld does not move, only the butt pad. only reason i didn't give 5 is because the weld felt weird to me, but that preference varies so much from user to user.

got a great deal on this.. easy to install. seems bright enough (although I haven't tried it outside at night). easy to use. nice upgrade to your HD weapon.

feels so much better than the stock that came with my M&P15. thing is beefy. it's a little hard to extend and contract on the buffer tube. It's possible that I may have the wrong size. Either way, its solid.
cheap option in a pinch

Not bad for the price. The angle that creates a parallel plain with the barrel is a nice touch. It looks a little off once installed. I am going to keep it installed, but if you're on the fence, I would just keep the regular handguard look. The vertical foregrip I installed is nice and perpendicular, but it allows me too much torque and creates a lot of give with the handguard (as it wasn't designed to experience it like that). That being said, if you really want to attach to this style handguard, I like the piece.
