Vortex OPMOD Diamondback Tactical 4-16x44mm Rifle Scope, 30mm Tube, First Focal Plane (FFP)
I purchased this as an upgrade to the standard Crossfire 3-9x40 that came with my Savage 110. It’s going to be primarily used as a hunting optic and maybe if I feel like stretching the legs of the .308 it’s mounted on. The glass clarity is great, edge distortion is present but minimal at max magnification. Adjustments are crisp with distinctive clicks. Subtensions are true as well.
I have only ran this out to 300 yards at this point but it was perfect both making adjustments and using the subtensions for my holds.
Overall this is a solid optic for the price point. There are absolutely better options on the market, if you want to lay down serious cash. If you are looking for a solid hunting optic or a reasonably priced range optic you can’t go wrong.
