Review for
Triggertech AR-15 Adaptable Trigger
I was going to get a Geissele 2 stage trigger like everyone else for my AR, but then a shooting expert buddy turned me onto triggertech - and specifically the ability to tune the weight of the trigger. I figured if he was running a triggertech then I should try it out. Also, I wanted a flat trigger, and I've never liked the profile of the flat Geissele trigger, especially since it doesn't have a lip at the trigger bottom. I liked the profile and feel of the flat triggertech, and was curious about adjusting the pull. I'm no mechanic, so I was initially worried that I'd need help installing the drop in - but found it as easy as can be. Put it in in 5 minutes. The adjustment is also very simple - turn a knob with the included torx wrench. It has definite clicks as you rotate the screw, which is wonderful for tuning the feel of the trigger. I've since dropped in a POF trigger in my other AR, and the triggertech is much easier to install and set up. The throw is very short, and frankly it feels more like a 1-1/2 stage trigger than a 2 stage trigger, but otherwise the thing is fantastic. Tuning is easy, reset is very short and it does feel a bit like a 1911 trigger as advertised.

Good grip, unique, but gets hot
Written on May 02, 2019
I got this because here in Californiastan we aren't allowed forward grips unless they're angled. And since everyone and their mother has the Magpul AFG, I thought I'd be different and get something no one else has. Plus I didn't want anything plastic. So this fit the bill. I also didn't want to stick a rail on my keymod BCM handguard, so this also looks very cool sitting flush on the keymod connection. It functions and looks great with a variety of options for gripping it, thanks to the longish rake. However, the only issue is that, since it's aluminum and since it attaches directly to the handguard, it conducts heat when the barrel gets hot, so you need gloves if you're shooting lots of rounds.

great sights, less money

I wanted some decent backup sights for my red dot that weren't magpul, and these fit the bill. spring flip up and solid diamond pattern image. hard to tell from the aluminum version. light and cool. A great alternative to magpul and very distinctive.
