I like steel mounts and rings especially for magnum calibers, this was installed on a bergara hmr in 7prc. The holes were off enough that I had to use my drill and massage the holes a little to work. Pretty disappointing, and the base itself didn't see flush. There is pretty much exact review like this one on here as well and I guess I should of listened. Not sure if I'll go to the trouble of switching out or messing with a return..

So I hope by making this review I can help new ak owners. I’m sure as most know not all aks are the same, slight differences. Now down to my point I read some very hit or miss reviews on this working on palmetto state aks, saying they were off center and rivets hitting. I did install this on my psa gf3 and the back rivet made slight contact which might of honestly attributed to some people having the issue of them being way off center and unable to zero there rifle. The trick to fix this is simple, get a file and shave it down some and if you want to be a perfectionist like me follow it with a fine file like a jewelers file or fine grit sand paper to smooth it over then use a sharpie, cold blue, or something to cover up the shiny metal underneath. It doesn’t take much the whole process took me 5-10 mins. Once installed the mount I did have to adjust the red dot over a ways but it was still able to be zeroed and held zero good for 40 rounds. Maybe if Brandon ever quits destroying the economy cheap 7.62x39 will be a thing again. It seems like a good quality piece of equipment of which I have no regret buying it.
