I was extremely disappointed when I finished up my Aero M4E1 lower with an Aero parts kit and found that my Magpul BAD lever was very loose and sloppy on the mag catch. I decided to try it on a few others and found that it fit well on my Spikes lower and another Aero that I built with a CMMG kit so I found this to replace the Aero one. Now I have BAD levers on all my rifles and they fit nice and snug. The CMMG LPK’s are now my go to.
Great targets for the money. These are bright green and great for spotting your own hits. They are sticky backed so no need for staples or tape. I usually buy a pack with every order to keep stocked up!
If you load 10 rounds at a time it seems to work ok. 30 rounds at a time in either 5.56 or 7.62x39 is impossible. Managed to do 20 at a time of 7.62x39 but it jammed the mag up so tight I had to pull the bottom plate and spring out and drop the mag on the ground a few times to get the rounds out. There’s better ways to spend $60
Worked great for about 20 rounds then the trigger quit resetting. I had to pull the trigger twice to make it reset and then the gun would go off when I released the trigger. I sent it in to MI who told me it was fine and sent it back. I reinstalled it and same problem. I took it to a gunsmith that said the disconnector was sticky and out of spec and catching on the hammer. With the upper off and the trigger pulled to the rear you physically could not push the hammer down past the diconnector. I sent it back to OP for an exchange. The new one worked for 2 rounds before the hammer got stuck back on the disconnector and could not be freed up unless I pulled the entire trigger pack out of the lower. I returned the 2nd one and bought a Geissele SD3G which works amazing. Long story short, save yourself the headache and pony up the cash for a Geissele. If you don’t want to spend that much get a CMT. I hate to bash on MI because I love their rails and combat sights but this trigger needs some work.
This is my first SLR and it is extremely well made and lightweight. Looks great and fits perfect with my 11.5” barrel. Leaves about a 1/4” gap between the rail and my Rugged Razor. The picture OP showed when I bought this was of the Gen 4 model but this is the Gen 5 which is what I wanted.
These are the best and brightest sights on the market. I have them in every one of my pistols that they currently have offerings for. Hoping they add a lot more models! The yellow hi viz front is ridiculously bright. Paired with the blacked out tritium rears they are the perfect sights in my opinion. Try a set out, you won’t be disappointed!
Using with a Streamlight HL-X Rail. Fits great on Midwest Industries G3 and Cross Machine & Tool Mlok rails at 10 and 2 o’clock positions. Won’t clear Troy battle sights if the bell of the light is flush with the rail but fits just fine with Magpul Mbus Pros
They may not be as practical or comfortable as some of new MLok rails but there is just something cool about a quad rail. This pairs perfectly with my 10” BA 300 blackout barrel and leaves about an 1/8” gap between the rail and my Rugged Suppressors Razor and looks awesome. For the money this is the best quad rail out there.
For the price these are the best metal backups you can get. They are low profile and easy to deploy. You can get the Mbus pros for about the same price but I like these better. Rear sight is simple and sits up high enough when folded down that it won’t hit your charging handle if you’re running a Geissele with the larger gas deflector lip on it. Fits perfect on the Aero M4E1 uppers that have different picatinny spacing than standard AR uppers. Will buy again!
This is my go to for almost every build. The tungsten powder T2 buffer seems to be the perfect weight for any barrel length/gas system in my experience. I also love that the tube has position numbers on it that show through the witness hole if you’re using a B5 stock. Only thing they could improve is to add a QD socket end plate. I have a very large collection of standard end plates since I install BCM’s in all my builds. Great price too!
