Good wraparound sunglasses, but not great with stock prescription lenses
Written on Jun 09, 2018
I needed a pair of prescription wrap-around sunglasses to wear while riding a wave runner.
The basic sunglasses with non prescription lenses seem very nice. Comfortable and seem sturdy. Look good. But I need prescription lenses. I received the glasses with the prescription lenses in place. The prescription was great and vision was clear. But, the lenses are held in place with adapters that hold the lenses away from the face. With the lenses and adapters in, the sunglasses look more like welding goggles. Very unattractive. Also, and this is the worst problem, the peripheral vision is horrible with the adapters. I could not drive with them on, because my head could not turn around far enough to see to make lane changes. Unsusable.
3 out of five stars because without prescription lenses, the glasses seem like they should be 5 stars, but with prescription lenses they are 1 star, and unusable for the purpose I bought them for.
