John Rifleman from United States, KY Public Profile
I've had this thing for a very long time now and I gotta say it's the best drop in handguard you can get.
It's currently the only one I run for the drop in variety.
Mine is loose and a little bit crooked now but it's gone through a ton of hard use over the past 8 years.
Easily one of the best out there. I have mine on an old DPMS Oracle.
Runs flawlessly in my cut down vent rib 1100.
Was a 28" and cut it to 20" and this heavy load runs fine.
Might still need to open the gas but that should tell you these are hot. Great in any gas gun.
Alright, so these plates despite being cheap for what they are, are pretty decent for the money. Stops everything up to .308 ball. Does not stop M855.
Covers my vitals pretty well but plenty of thicc mushrooms out the sides.
If you're a big boi like me, you'll look like an armchair commando that hasn't left the house in 2 years. With all that's happened recently, I decided to get a couple rifle plates just in case a riot breaks out here. Hope I never actually have to test them.
Amazing quality for the price but doesn't have pan like others have mentioned.
Not a deal breaker for me but maybe for you.
Not much more to say really. Got it mounted you a 6.5G Ruger American Predator and it kinda matches the factory polymer stock surprisingly well.
Polymer, aluminum and steel construction.
Somewhat off topic but magpul really needs to make an AR mag version of their RAP stock. I'd love to have one for my Grendel.
Also needs a green version of this bipod too.
Buyer beware.
The laser is built great a holds zero. Overall I didn't have any complaints until i tried to remove it from my rifle.
Stripped the screw with the included hex wrench.
I ended up drilling it out in order to remove it.
Big oof on Sightmark there. When I looked at the bottom I saw a tiny qc pass sticker Omegalul.
Recommended but go easy on the hex screw.
Currently have this mounted on a Ruger American Predator 6.5 Grendel and it's fantastic.
Glass is crystal clear and I'm getting 1" groups at 125 yard with Wolf 100gr fmj.
Unfortunately overpaid because I purchased from somewhere else.
I've had these for 5+ years now and I gotta say, best drop in handguard I've ever seen.
Rugged, durable and light.
Don't plan on changing them out anytime soon.
I purchased mine direct from Midwest Industries way back in 2014 or something.
They do get hot really quick due to the slim design and aluminum material.
Are you sick and tired of calling NASA because you yeeted another detent into orbit?
Well look no further because KNS precision has exactly what you need.
With the KNS enhanced pivot pin, spring loaded detents are a thing of the past.
10/10 will buy again.
Also apparently it's very popular with airsoft.
That said, I got it because it looks like something you'd see in some futuristic dystopian cyberpunk type of game.
I'm not talking about 2077 either, more like Dues Ex human revolution.
Pretty decent quality and seems pretty durable but it's slightly canted to the left by a few degrees and is noticeable and the qd sling cups aren't the anti-rotation type. They spin.
I've been running this on my Tanfoglio Force for a while now and have about 250 rounds through it.
I love it and recommend it. My eyes aren't great so it's a little blurry but all dots are like that for me unless viewed through a magnifier or aperture.
That said I'm hitting bowling pins at 125 yards consistently with no effort.
Also this review is for the green dot with 32moa circle.
If I get another, it'll be a dot only model.
Tanfoglio > GLOCK don't @me
