Sig Elite is one of my preferred brands for EDC. I've used it periodically for 7 or 8 years, and I've always had outstanding results.
I carry the 9mm in a Glock 19, a Walther CCP, and occasionally in a little Taurus 709.

I've always liked Liberty Civil Defense as carry ammo (both 9mm and .45 acp), and I bought this .223 ammo just to try out in my AR. I'd just installed a reflex sight & magnifier combo, and I wanted to zero it using higher-quality defensive ammo.
I was impressed by how fast and flat-shooting this ammo is. I've only shot it at paper targets, so I don't have any scientific "ballistic data", but I expect it would be quite suitable as a self-defense round, or as a small game/varmint round.
I think a slightly heavier grain weight would make it even more efficient, but it works quite well as-is.
