Installion and operation are simple. One thing to note, you have to be careful of your trigger finger placement. If you rest your finger on the side of the slide as you acquire your target you may block the laser beam. Just a little practice to modify your muscle memory. Does not require special holster

Contrary to what is stated, the LaserMax G-19 Laser site guide rod spring is signicantly heavier than the original guide rod spring. Racking of the slide is significantly more difficult. Especially if you have a disability.
