Lifesaver for your upper receiver

Trying to remove a muzzle device without using this receiver rod is suicide for your rifle. Just using a vice won't work, as you run the risk or torquing your actual upper receiver while trying to get the muzzle device off. It is used to secure barrel nuts and other upper receiver parts, and the first time I secured the rod in the upper receiver and then into the vice, my muzzle device came right off. Well worth the money, it is a solid tool for at home gunsmithing!

Overall a sweet red dot! The shake awake works like a charm and the solar fail safe is a nice touch. Mine had some cosmetic damage but after talking with customer we got things figured out super quickly! Will buy another one for my next offset mount red dot.
