This has alot of potential to be a cheap weight saver at 9 grams on my scale about as much as spending 60-70$ for a vseven air dust cover with vseven enlarged type 2 rod. As of right now it's only purpose is the bin of shame full of discontinued memorabilia, tried in a colt cage code stripped 6920 upper, 6940 upper, Colt m5 cqc upper, Super duty upper reciever. All have an identical problem following the directions to the letter, you will not have enough spring tension, when the carrier is moved back to extract, the dust cover will open part way but hit a "wall" to swinging never beyond the one o clock position. The cover needs at least 2 more coils of tension on the spring to fight the difference. It's not a reciever issue this is a legitimate design oversight. Installing this on any upper you will get stovepipes as the round will not over come the difference to flip out the rest of the way, stick with a gi or vseven dust cover.

V Seven Titanium Combo Pack
Besides the cost of this having doubled within 4 years for this particular ar-15 part set. I recall my records showing me, buying my first set for around 48$ in 2019 in black dlc. I can tell you that this titanium end plate set will provide you the cleanest stake job with a AA18 autopuncher, has shown to have consistent dimples for the past 5 sets for past few years. The lock down purchases have shown to me that v seven raising their prices due to metal shortages put that extra money into maintaining very solid qc with this particular part set from them. Castle nut installation according to the tech, I spoke with on the phone in 2021, recommended you or I to not exceed 25ft lbs when torqueing with any wrench, kinda low compared to the milspec of around 40ft lbs but has been shown from my experiance to not matter when staked twice properly. The price is climbing to the point of getting a bit dumb zamn near 100$ for two small ar-15 parts that weigh under half an oz total most sane ar-15 builders are not wanting to purchase this. I along with you are most likely not buying this for the marginal weight reduction or bling factor, thats what aluminum variants are for. This is mostly just a situation of "so you or I don't need to worry about rust or corrosion for the rest of your life part set". In summary this set of flagship parts has been shown by market conditions to be an apperciating component to any ar-15, ar-10 style platform installed or uninstalled, and it will only get mo
