Great idea poorly executed

I replaced both front and rear sights with the Trijicon sights. I took my time but it was a pretty easy job. The rear isn't much different from the original Smith. The front is way different. It glows! The darker it is the better it stands out. It should have been awesome. The rear sight isn't much better than the Smith. At about so dark it will not be easy to see, but the front one will be right there. The front sight also sits a bit higher than the original Smith and Wesson. And there is the problem. With these sights my gun shoots way too low. At ten yards it is like a foot low. I couldn't figure out a sight picture that was going to work. What seems to work was a different set of sights that I will review after living with for a bit.
