The threads are very fine so clean both the anti-reflection device and your optic before installation. Even the tiniest particles of dirt and dust will cause it to not thread on smoothly. I applied a TINY amount of anti-seize and locked it down hand tight, and it hasn't loosened over a hundred rounds later. The finish is a perfect match for the optic and the depth seems more than sufficient to block inbound and outbound glare. My only complaint is that if it had a bezel at the end the same diameter as the optic's objective housing then the silicone lens cover would fit much better. It has enough stretch to cover the extra distance but the smaller diameter of the anti-reflection device causes a less-than-stellar fit.
