This green dot is pure garbage. They should take it off the line before it tarnishes Trijicon's name as a whole. I compared this to a Sig Romeo 5 at 1/4 of the price and i have to say I would have paid more for the Romeo.
I am personally a huge fan of the quad rail despite lighter mlok options; however, choices are relatively slim. I debated back and forth between paying $300-500 for a Geissele or DD rail and decided to take a leap of faith on this one. I have no regrets, NONE! This hand guard is of premium quality and after looking at it and a DD side by side.... i have to say the the cost difference is only in the advertising. If you're looking for a quality product but need to spend some of your cash elsewhere on rifle upgrades, go with this option and it won't let you down.
Quality and fit are perfect. This stock looks and feels great. No wobble whatsoever. The only minor downside is that it is so snug that it can get caught up in the buffer threads if closed completely. Not worth taking off a full star for me. I am very happy.
Good glass and overall good value for the price; however, the turrets are VERY stiff and the thread in knob to turn the turret is cheaply made. I used blue loctite on it and it still wiggles and pops out so i have to continually tighten it down and ensure i don't lose it. I would give it 3.5 stars... still better than average due price/glass quality.
This product is of incredibly high-quality for its price range and has no wobble whatsoever once installed, which is what I like to see; however, it's so tight that it does hang up going from fully closed to open. Not a dealbreaker for me and I love this stock during normal use but it's definitely not quick to adjust.
Great idea but this stock has a LOT of wiggle on a standard mil spec buffer tube. This can be fixed with shims but pretty disappointing for an $80 stock. My $50 B5 bravo puts this one to shame in that category.
I wanted to love this hand guard. It looks great on my AR, it's Easy to install, the anodized finish is high quality... BUT the edges right where you would naturally grip with your thumb are very sharp. This is something you normally see on much cheaper handguards. If you moved your had quickly from one spot to another you could absolutely cut yourself if you weren't paying attention. This wouldn't have been an issue if it was M lok all the way around because you could put pads on it but the open design doesn't allow for it. I'll be switching to a model that has mlok all the way around.
