Installed the 6 MOA version on my 43x. Bolted right up without issue. This is a true RMSc footprint optic so it will fit on the standard 43x or any other RMSc cut slide. I really appreciate the side mounted battery and protected brightness controls.

The only con is the zeroing adjustments are a really tiny torx. At the very least I wish they were T10, but slots would've been better. Not a huge issue on a handgun as it's pretty much zero and forget.

If you have a 43X or 48, you know about trigger bite. This trigger replaces the stock shoe, keeping the trigger pull stock while eliminating trigger bite. This is a good option for a carry gun.

If you're looking at this review, you already know the Steelhead Fast Access Pistol Box is one of the best on the market. What sets it apart from Fort Knox and V-Line is the cable option. If you want to use a cable to secure it in a car, this is the choice to get. If you're planning to bolt it down, the Steelhead box has provisions for that is priced a little less than V-Line and Fort Knox.

Construction is highly quality, the finish is excellent, and this model can easily fit full sized handguns with lights and optics. A Glock 17 with an Aimpoint ACRO, TLR-1 HL, and a 19 round magazine fit perfect with enough room for another smaller pistol or other accessories. A pair of Glock 19s with optics and TLR-7 lights will fit as well.

The main selling point with buying this package from OP, versus directly from Steelhead, is in the included cable. This alone provides a better value than ordering direct. The cable is heavy duty and will not be easily cut with small tools commonly carried by car prowlers.
