Way better than Gen 2, improved knob controls positive clicks and movement, improved reticle easier to see and optical picture seems to focus better. I have had 3 Gen 2 versions, the last one I tried , I put on a rifle and took it off after 2 shots and sold it for half of what I paid. This Gen 3 is a keeper

Good price and a good quality BUT I can’t get it to focus at 50 yards- it will focus at 50 meters but not at 50 yards. I bought 2 of these because the price was good. But Beware….
