Good replacement for Sig in ear earpro

Pro Ears HTBT Tips 3 Pairs Per Bag
I own some Sig in ear earpro that I've used extensively for some years now. They came with some large cylindrical foam inserts that took decent manipulation to insert in the ear canal. The constant manipulation and need to squish them down eventually caused them to tear. I tried these as a replacement and they fit perfectly on the earbuds and in the ear. They sill well inside the ear canal and stand up to the percussion of unsuppressed pistol and rifle fire.

Good grip for SCAR 17

Reptilia CQG Grip
This grip is a easy swap out for your SCAR 17 A2 grip. Texture on front and back are good too, causing good griping with no slipping. Angle is great. Eliminates wrist manipulation and allows you to more easily pull the gun into your shoulder to mitigate recoil.

Cool idea, poorly executed

CAA Gen 2 Glock 20/21 Micro Conversion Kit
Got this rig because I wanted to run my G21 suppressed in it. The good: It fit my Rugged Obsidian can no issue. The bad: There is too much play in the system to zero a top mounted red dot or iron-sights. They amount of play between the gun and chassis is so great that my groupings were well over 12" at 50 yards. I can shoot the pistol more accurately without the chassis. Also the simi enclosed system does nothing in the way of mitigating gas, so if you are intending to run a gun suppressed in this kit, you're going to get gassed out. The extra mag holder is also poorly designed, almost like it was an afterthought. Its clunky, wiggles freely, and with a spare mag inserted adds considerable height to the overall system. The mag holder basically has the same quality as a fast food toy.
The system is a cool idea that can hopefully be improved in a Gen 3 version but as it currently stands, its only good for turning your Glock into an inaccurate range toy.

Must have for suppressed AK.

ALG Defense AK Recoil Spring
I have a few AK / AKMs that I run suppressors on and this recoil spring is the only upgrade you'll need to fix reliability issues, rather than bothering with gas regulators, ports, or ammo selection. After dropping this spring in my guns cycle perfectly with all types of ammo I've fed them. Highly recommend, especially as a first step if you're trying to tune you gun / slow down bolt return travel.

Solid fit for my rugged obsidian can
Written on Feb 25, 2025
Put this on an AR9 so I could use my rugged obsidians tri lug adapter. Took a little bit of toque to get it on the barrel threads but definitely isn't going to walk off during recoil. Fits the rugged tri lug mount snug and allows minimal flex and movement. Ill purchase another down the road for my next 9mm PCC build.

UTG Pro MP5 Handguard
Perfect fit for my Pakistani made MP5. No modifications or fitting needed. Holds zero after approx. 100 rounds. Also has a nice sleek look. Hope UTG Pro keeps at this.

So far so good

Been running these for about a year now. Nice for traveling with compared to my peltors. Good sound quality and battery life is pretty good. Definitely will last for the extent of a range day. Only downside is they're easy to nock out of the ear canal when bumped/tugged.

Good, not great
Written on Oct 22, 2024
I own two of these and both have had the same problem. They hold up to recoil well and maintain zero but the rubber button cover fell off on both dots I own. Nothing a little super glue around the edge couldn't fix but it is something to be aware of. Aside from that they have preformed well and one has withstood hundreds of rounds mounted atop a 9mm pistol slide. I personally would only recommend these for training devices and not duty/defense use.

Best stock for the price IMO

B5 Systems Sopmod Stock Mil-Spec
I own several stocks of various makes and manufactures. The B5 SOPMOD is probably the best overall collapsing stock, especially after you factor in price. Simple and utilitarian. Storage space, positive lock up, ergonomic cheek weld, and a good slip free grippy butt plate.

Locks up well

Figured given the lower price to the competitor this was a gamble purchase but it locks in well and fits snug. No complaints.
