I also had no interest in the AR format until the 450BM was legalized for Indiana deer hunting. The picture is not accurate as others have mentioned (looks like the 20"). 16" is fine for my purposes-short and maneuverable. My initial 100 yard groups are under 3" and likely improve with some trigger work. So far, for about 50 rounds, its functioned flawlessly. Recoil is much less than a 12 ga slug-more like a magnum muzzleloader load. The Barns SST bullet is what I currently use in my muzzy; So this is like my muzzy on steroids and semi-auto. Ive only run the Horady ammo. My complete gun with scope and sling is 8.2 lbs. For repeated shooting I would recommend a good recoil pad. My 16 yo nephew enjoyed shooting it.

Anderson Manufacturing OOPS Spare Kit
I bought this kit, charging handle and buffer kit. While installing the new buffer tube I sent the buffer retaining spring and detent into orbit. Rather than searching for it for hours, I used the oops kit (still haven't found them).
