First off I love the previous Woodsman BH’s I’ve gotten before this last recent ones. Shooting that big of a head with traditional gear and the price you pay for these heads they should be built better. The glue or half hearted weld where there Ferrell meets the blades is pitted like they just let someone who can’t weld tack this on. I take particular care of my arrows in the building process and squaring both ends and dry fitting inserts with the BH attached and then proceed to spin test the shafts and heads. With that said all 3 heads in this package were the worst I have ever seen in any head from any manufacturer. Like I said the metal was pitted, epoxy and paint both had runs and the threaded area was not even close to being straight. During the spin test they were so bad my arrow bounced off the wheels. I grabbed an elite BH and retested the arrow and that head spun like a top. I’m very disappointed to say the least.

Exceeded my expectations for being a forged upper receiver. Not having to time a barrel nut for the gas tube is a bonus as well. Very light weight and feels like it has a fantastic finish on it. Matches up great on my Seekins SP223 lower as far as fit and color.
