Good +5 extension for the VP9. Easy to install if you understand the product. I tried to install the extension with the 17rd red follower magazine like the instructional video and it did not work. The spring kept binding up in this configuration. After a few emails. back and forth with Tyrant CNC, I realized that this was meant to be used on the old 15rd magazines. These extensions would basically give you better looking 20rd magazines compared to the original HK 20rd magazines.

Is this magazine extension better than just buying a HK 20rd magazine? No. If you have a bunch of old 15rd magazines that need upgrading, then I would say it is worth it.

Installation tip: Only use the follower with the included spring for the full 20rds. The locking tab at the bottom of the magazine does not fit inside the extension without trimming and if you decide to use it, the spring is maxed out and makes inserting magazine impossible.

As far as compatibility, it did not seat in a P30 easily. I had to really slam it in, and the mag release is under tension the whole time. If you trim the P30 frame a little it will work, but id rather not trim my pistol and get oem 20rd magazines instead.
