It works too well

Written on Aug 28, 2020

Super easy to install and use. Well made. The only problem I had (which made me switch to the BattleBar) is it did not take much to activate it. I would experience a mag drop carrying it on the sling. If you have weak or arthritic fingers, this provides a bit of purchase making it easy to drop a mag, VS standard mag release button.

Nice belt, but sizing needs help...

Written on Jul 16, 2020

Not sure if it was a mislabeled product or general sizing issue.
I contacted Bianchi to ask how they sized their belts. They said that they were sized so the middle hole would to be used.
My waist is a solid 32". I can barely get the belt into the 1st hole.
It's a nice belt; supports full size 1911 (steel frame) and ammo mag holder nicely. I just wish I had ordered larger than I needed to get a better fit.

Comfortable, near perfect fit, concealable, & did I mention, Comfortable?

Written on Jun 23, 2019

This is, without a doubt, one of the more comfortable & concealable holsters I've used (Which may not be saying much of the holsters I've tried). When I decided to switch from carrying a glock to my 1911 (Dan Wesson bobtail) I tried to find a thumb break holster for cocked & locked. Not many options out there & the few I tried really were not made for cocked & locked carry.

I got this holster & the fit wasn't perfect, but very close. It fit the gun well, the thumb break was a little loose, but 100% functional in protecting the hammer from ever landing on the firing pin, as well as retaining the firearm. The cant makes the draw very easy.

It rides nice and high and carrying anywhere from 3 to 5 o'clock, it fits very closely & comfortably. Very little printing. With a loose shirt or an untucked button down (or 'overshirt' type) absolutely no printing & holds it nice & high.

The Draw is easy & smooth. With the retention screw adjusted, it holds the firearm in place securely even after you unsnap the retention strap.

I'm going to pick up some other versions of this for other pistols. It is a great holster.
You'll want a nice gun belt. I was able to use it with a (non-duty) nylon 'range' type belt. I had to cinch it pretty tight to hold the firearm from tipping outward. With a proper gun belt (dress or duty) it holds it nicely.

Great holster for concealed or professional/dress carry.
