Great Scope for Price
Written on Dec 26, 2014
I got this scope from Optics Planet for about half the MSRP cost, with free shipping. You can't beat that price and the package got to me within the week. For that, I am a big fan of Optics Planet.
As for the scope: it was a little heavier than I was hoping, but that is subjective. The balance point is behind the turrets towards the shooter which I like. The lens is very clear and it is easy to focus. I like the fast, tool-less adjustments to the turrets. The reticle goes from thick to medium to thin cross hairs which can aid in fast shooting under stress, while the MOA thin cross hair is very thin and will do well for long range or bench shooting. Out of the box the magnification ring is stiff and a little challenging to turn. I like this because I tend to use my scopes at a fixed lower power and don't like when they get turned up on accident. All-in-all, I think it is a great scope. The only thing I wish, is that it was a little lighter, but for the price you would be hard pressed to find a scope of this quality for the price.
