A must have when building and maintaining AR’s

I bought two of these: 1 for the AR15 and 1 for the AR10/LR-308 platform.
Both of these are very solid and work well with my vise in holding my AR uppers in place while I do maintenance on them. These rods are definitely nice to have especially when you have to torque or remove your barrel nut when installing or replacing a barrel. I would say the best part about these rods as opposed to Geissele’s is that:
1) it comes with a raised, adjustable piece that goes where your charging handle goes that further holds your upper in place
2) you can order these in various colors. For me I bought one in red and another in blue to color code.

**For those who use Aero Precision M5 lowers**

If you're buying this or any custom AR Mag release kit for your AP M5 lower, do note that the mag release arm may not be not long enough to fit and flush the mag release button (this is because AP's mag release button's for the M5 models are taller in height. In this case for Battle Arms Development's kit, the mag release arm was too short. After scouring the Internet to find an easy solution, I found that KAK Industry LLC specifically makes mag release arms that are long enough to accommodate the M5's width.
