Great scope for the money
Written on Jul 23, 2020
I have 2 of these scopes - the current HDMR II and its predecessor the regular HDMR. Clarity is good enough, and have successfully used it on steel a little past 1,000 yards. Yes, there are other scopes out on the market with better clarity, ED prime glass and all of that stuff and if you have the $2-3K to afford those then great - but for on the order of half the price, this optic serves just fine.

Bang for your buck

Clear glass, true 1x, off position between each illumination setting (extremely helpful), good eyebox. My only complaint is the hash marks and numbers indicating MOA's are a little small/fine for my eyes. Heavy circle is great for quick acquisition at closer ranges, but holdovers will take a little bit of squinting. Overall a great scope!

Great scope for the money

Picked this scope up for a 7mm-08 lightweight multipurpose hunting rifle, wanted something good that wouldn't break the bank. Clear glass, feels sturdy and well built, point of aim hasn't shifted after being on several hunting trips and shooting excursions. Dials are finger adjustable, crisp and responsive, able to be reset for zero (no zero stop though). It's not a Nightforce or anything like that, but for the money it's one of the best scopes I've come across. I wouldn't hesitate buy another.
