Decent multi-function monocular, but, seems to be poorly supported by ATN

I purchased the NVM-14 Gen2+ scope about a month ago. Functionally, I'm pretty happy with it. It has very good low light performance (but is noticably less crisp than a Gen 3), is compact, and fit my use case for hands free and weapon mounting options. But, I have a couple of issues and I'd have purchased from another manufacturer in hind sight.
My issues:
1- The manual is out of date, identifying components that are included as accessories but which are no longer included, like the wrist strap.
2- The manual lists accessories available for this unit, such as a sacrificial window, which does not exist and the manufacturer support was completely unhelpful in suggesting an alternative. This is an imporant piece to protect an expensive piece of hardware
3 - Non-standard mounting. I knew this was true before buying, but, being unable to buy just the J-Arm, which would at least allow one to mount it to the remainder of all othe other standard mil-spec head gear is disappointing,so left buying a $230+ head mounting option which is well above anything else out there, when the only real unique component included is the J arm. All the rest is interchangable with components you'd get for $50 - $100.
