A guy at work suggested i check this out and he was right on the money. Controls are stiff but not unmanageable. Mounting is easy but the screws do protrude from the hardware. Normally not an issue but i have a side charging handle and i have caught my fingers more than once. Anyone using a normal charging handle wont have this issue. There is a little bit of distortion in the glass at 1x but the glass itself is clear and the reticle is easily visible.

Not a bad scope

Review for
Monstrum G2 1-4x24mm Rifle Scope
I really liked this optic, but after just handling it in my workshop for a couple of weeks, the reticle illumination knob became loose and then just fell off. Im hoping it was a QC fluke and i will be buying another one to confirm. Optics planet accepted the return request and it was processed quickly.
