I would highly recommend this optic. This is the third unit I’ve purchased from Vortex Optics in the past two years, and each has met or exceeded my expectations. One detail I particularly appreciate is the inclusion of properly labeled mounting screws, clearly identified by size and intended application—an attention to detail that stands in contrast to some competitors, such as Holosun, where compatibility can feel less straightforward.

While this sight has not yet been subjected to heavy use, my prior experience with Vortex products gives me confidence in its durability and overall build quality. Additionally, the clarity and sharpness of both the red dot and circle reticle are impressive, especially at this price point. Considering the performance offered relative to cost, the Defender represents an exceptional value and is difficult to surpass in its category.
