Crimson Trace Green Laserguard for Bodyguard
I own lots of Crimson Trace laser products. For all the reasons Crimson Trace promotes (rapid target acquisition, shooting from non-traditional stances, and of course "intimidation") and one more, I think a laser for the S&W Bodyguard is ESSENTIAL. Everyone knows carrying a .380 is a "compromise" but their are times that carrying a full size 45 ACP just isn't possible. Extreme conceal-ability means very short sight radius and very small sights. Sure the S&W BG COMES with sights, but they are very low profile and black. No contrasting colors, no tritium (or my preference tritium fiber optic), no... well, very little of anything sight-wise. That "one more reason" I mentioned? I'm over 50, so anything I can do to improve my sight picture I will do! Sure point shooting works at 5-7 yards but I want better! This CT laserguard provides an outstanding fit to the weapon, and a ridiculously easy activation. A firing grip activates the laser - period! It still fits in any of the pocket and ankle holsters I had for the weapon before adding the sight. And... it's GREEN! Green provides MUCH BETTER visibility in daylight. It did require a little windage adjustment to align the laser with the iron sights - at least according to my eyes - but otherwise installation was a piece of cake. Comparatively speaking it's even affordable - for a Crimson Trace green laser. Can't recommend it enough. If you own a Bodyguard, you need this laser sight!
