This is one really tough light. I have used this light for 2 night shot classes and the rifle it’s on has been tossed around a few times without issue. I did pick up a cloud defense mount for the switch and that thing is rock solid. I can not recommend the Protac HL-X enough. This thing still runs great and the duel fuel option is a major plus.

By far the best option when you are looking for just a little more space on your bolt release. I used to use Magpul B.A.D. Levers till I discovered they don’t fit with all uppers. Then I found this and now use them for every build.

Let me start by saying the stop is built great and it locked up perfect with my rail. I have used several different types of hand stops on the past and this was my first finger stop I wanted to try for a FM AR9 7”. I really wanted something small and simple. I had been using a BCM hand stop but due to the short rail there really wasn’t enough room for me to shoot comfortably, my pinky would sometimes touch the muzzle device. I wanted something that would just provide me with a natural spot to place my hand without having to worry about being too far forward. When using this finger stop barehanded without gloves it gets supper uncomfortable between the fingers. Now this probably has more to do with my finger structure than the attachment. When shooting gloved it feels much better and provides exactly what I am looking for. I put it on a 12.5” upper and it did feel a little more comfortable and I’m guessing it was due to the angle of my grip at a longer distance away. I will continue to look for something that works for me and again I can’t say it enough this review has more to do with my personal grip that is a sample size of one. The product is built with quality and works as intended. Just beware if you have long boney fingers it might not be the right hand stop for you.

The HS507C V2 has so many options the RMR does not have. I do own an RMR that I have used for over 3 years now and this HS507C has become my favorite for Home defense. Shake awake option is a huge plus along with the same donut of death reticle you get on the Eotech makes this my go to pistol optic I would trust my life with. The only feature I am still questioning is the auto adjust brightness. So far it has held up and it can be turned off but I’d like to see if this feature will hold up years down the road. We will see. If you are looking for a quality red dot and do not want to pay over $500.00 this is the way to go for sure.
