I bought this to use on a Benelli M4, and it did a great job of moving the light forward, closer to the end of the barrel. Options for that are limited, so I am happy with this item.
Great improvement over factory

This is a quality item. I took one star off because the riser is fairly difficult to reposition and it no longer utilizes the two small set screws on each side. Adjusting the riser should not be necessary once positioned properly, but it should not be so difficult to adjust when needed.
Excellent replacement light

This light was a perfect replacement for the older, incandescent light on my Surefire 618FA forend. It took about 30 seconds to screw it in and confirm that it fits and works great.
Guide rod assembly would not function properly

These parts all fit properly in my aftermarket True Precision slide. However, the guide rod assembly would not function properly. It produced failure to feed in multiple magazines, both stock and aftermarket, with ball and +P ammunition. I out the OEM guide rod assembly in its place, and the weapon functioned perfectly.

I have no idea why they discontinued sales of these to civilians. But, I am thrilled that I got the second to last one available! I have been wanting this scope for several years. When I found it was discontinued, I almost waited too long to buy one.
