This holster exceeded my expectations. Every 2011 and 1911 I own fit perfectly without modification. Even my Platypus with full rail and square trigger guard locked right up. Gun is secure even when unlocked (I wouldn't do any heavy running though), super smooth draw, and when locked the gun just will not come out. This is my first BSG product, but not my last.

To be fair I give it 4.5 stars. Lets start with the only negative I have, the turrets. I shoot a lot, that said, the clicks on the turrets suck. There is almost no audible click when making an adjustment, and I often get 2 or 3 clicks when I only wanted one. However, I get exactly what I dialed, and this isn't a scope you'll be making turret adjustments on very often. Once your sighted in the glass holds it's zero. Originally I bought a 1 x 8 (same turret issue), I was very happy with it so I popped 2 of the 1 x 6s, and I'll probably buy 1 or 2 more down the road. Like I said, they hold their zero, glass quality is better than most others at twice this price point. The reticle is very nice kill box design with a small enough center dot to be precise when needed. I rarely use illuminated scopes, but the highest setting is daylight bright, and makes acquiring the kill box potion of the reticle that much faster. I've been dumping all my 1X red dots and replacing them with LPVOs, for me they just work better with an option of 6X zoom when needed, most of the time they are on 2 or 3X for my use which is practical rifle shooting and 3 gun competitions. Normally I'm not hard on my equipment, but my 3 gun rifle takes a beating. It's held its zero the entire 2024 season, very happy with my purchase.

Why wouldn't you add this to an AR? Being able to close the bolt with your grip hand is a huge advantage, might even save your life some day.

Mine breaks at 4 pounds consistently measured with a digital Lyman gage. When using it for its intended purpose it performs flawlessly. When trying to do load development from a bench, carefully squeezing the trigger slowly to break a clean precise shot, expect a double or triple. When running around a 3 gun course shooting doubles is when you'll really appreciate the super short reset of this trigger. While my Timney is a better trigger, it also costs almost triple the price of this one. I'd buy another.
