I purchased this sight on Feb 13th, 2019. I made all the adjustments to my liking. Brightness, sleep time, etc. Mounted on my Mini-14 ranch and placed the weapon in my safe. A few months past and I retrieved it to see if the instant-on was working properly. No problem! Today I again retrieved the rifle from the safe to show Sean the new red dot. Well, no dot was to be found. I changed the battery but nothing. I will have to send this unit to Holosun to be repaired or replaced. If you have read this far you will have noticed I did not fire the weapon from install till pulling it from the safe. Hence it had not been subjected to any negative effects of recoil. This may be a wonderful product BUT at the moment I am pretty disappointed. Hence one star.
