Great stock for updating a well used wood stock SKS. Only issue was with my rifle and not with stock kit purchased. SKS had a factory riveted pin in the gas tube assembly that i could not disassemble without damaging. Kit has directions for this step, but i couldn't get it. Worked out well though, as there wasn't a rail for mounting optics on the stock kit i purchased. Bought a complete gas tube assembly with optics rail on it from Optics Planet, fit nicely.
