My old 110 used to be my favorite knife, a lock back almost strong enough to keep up with fixed blade knives. Virtually unchanged since its' inception in 1964 it became dated, mainly due to the softness of the blade compared to modern blade materials. I stuffed the ol' Buck in a drawer, replacing it with knives using modern steel. Alas, my old buck had become obsolete. NOT ANY MORE! Fast forward 55 years- Buck has brought the 110 into the 21st century with the 110 Auto Elite. I purchased this "brown" belt after purchasing one in black. The brown color is so dark it looks black! The buckle is silver. You can only tell the color difference between their black and brown belts by holding them next to one another. The belt is extremely well made but I wouldn't have purchased it had I known it was so similar in appearance to the black one. I've ordered a tan belt from another manufacturer.
