Ok, we all know (or should know) that muzzle brakes make your gun seem a little bit louder, and that if you're on a crowded range then the people beside you will hate you. Well, that doesn't bother me... guns are loud, get over it. I've tried out many, many brakes over the years and not all brakes are created equally. This one is amazing! Sure, my 18" AR-15 in 223/5.56 now sounds like a 338 Lapua Magnum, but now it recoils like a 22LR with practically no muzzle rise. This makes spotting your own shots at longer ranges much easier since you're not being knocked off target nearly as much. Yeah, this brake might cost a little more than most of them, but it is easily in the top 2 brakes that I've ever used. Oh, do yourself a favor when you install this, use the precision spacer shims instead of a crush washer.

These are just your run of the mill average upper parts, nothing fancy but they work perfectly fine. The problem I had was that the kit was missing the roll pin the retains the forward assist and it was missing the E-Clip the holds the ejection port (dust cover) pin from sliding out.
