Flir Breach Mount on Dual mount with PVS14

I added the Flir breach to a Dual mount from ModArmory next to a Gen3 PVS-14 WP. I am still fine tuning but if you use outdoor alert on the lowest brightness it is possible to over lay well but it takes time to get used to. There are some times it lags for like .25 seconds but rarely.
Works very well independant of the pvs14 during the day. Lots of different color schemes.
Definitly get an External battery pack if you want to use this.
Over all, a great product but if I could change one thing it would be to update the menu, make it easier to turn on/off. Maybe an app would be nice.

Excellent Gen3 White Phosphorus NV

I ordered this unit with low expectation since it was priced quite well but WOW; This is awesome. There is one tiny blemish in zone 2 which doesn't affect the sight picture at all. So far the battery life is quite good.
I was able to mount this to a helmet, next to a Flir Breach and have been succesfully able to get it to overlay very well.
I wish the case it came in was a little more stiff but since its mounted at this point, not much of a concern. And the head mount included in with it is very uncomfortable. The J-Arm it comes with is a horn mount.
The onboard illuminator is more than capable for much of my needs.
If you are looking for a intro to NV, this is it.

Works well to connect OTTO NB TAC's to a Helmet

These are sturdy and have both metal and plastic parts. The plastic seems high quality and hasnt deformed at all. They are pretty easy to pry of the headset if you are going to switch between helmet mounts and over the top.
As far as mounting to helmets, they sell the 2 models listed but no MLOK. With that being said it is possible to mount to MLOK and it is very sturdy if you buy the HHV RAK kit and 2 M4 screws.
There is the little compartment on each side that allows you to store an extra battery, which you'll rarely need.
Overall, good quality and I like this better than how peltors mount.

Excellent Electronic Hearing Protection with Comms

OTTO Engineering NoizeBarrier TAC
The Otto Noizebarrier TAC's are excellent if you are looking for hearing protection with comms. Compared to Peltor/MSA these are the same quality if not higher. Although I have them mounted to a helmet, the head band can hide both the power and PTT cable if you are not hooked into a comm system. Very comfortable, you can easily wear these for an extended time.
You are able to use the Mic on either side but my one minor complaint is the PTT cable may not be able to be moved to the other side, but maybe it can, just too nervous to try pulling it out. But that is me just being nitpicky and does not affect performance of this awesome unit at all.
Quick shipping and was priced well. Definitely consider these. PLUS MADE IN AMERICA!!!
