I purchased this item for my ar-15, I didn't disassemble my current grip before hand. Had I have taken the extra time, I would have realized the small angular tooth poking from the base of the head of the grip. I have to remove the trigger guard entirely in order to install this grip onto my AR-15. I can file the tooth down or remove the trigger guard entirely. Either way, I feel like in idiot in my purchase. Do not make my mistake. Remove your grip before you purchase. Something as easy as a simple lip extension can cause you hours of work. I'ma get back to my filing. I'm loving the grip build, once I swapped out all of the front and rear options until I found the one that was right for me. Now I have to just make it fit on my AR-15.
