great 3x prism sight if you have an astigmatism.

Swampfox Trihawk 3x30mm Prism Scope
Since there is a rather inconveniently placed delete button on the side of the comment box and this is the 3rd time I am writing this review I'm give the condensed commentary. Great eye box, reticle etching, and contsruction. Uses a CR123a battery. Prism optics are great for people affected by astigmatism because the reticle is etched and not projected, so its not blurry. The down side is the short eye relief. So if you wear glasses and have long arms you may not want to mount this on a AR15 because it will feel really akward with how close you have to get to it to eliminate scope shadow.

great bang for buck

I was hesitant on this red dot based off early reviews of it. I've run a lot of sub $200 red dots and you typical get what you pay for. great range use but get out in the rough stuff different story, I even managed to break an eotech 512. I will say that I put this on the level of a vortex Sparc, the original one. It works fine and holds zero. I have an astigmatism so all red dots without my glasses on, especially holographic sights, are blurry to me. I haven't really done any rough stuff with it but for the gun it goes on I only need it to be accurate out to 50 yards, and that gun seldom gets used outside of the range.
