My right hand is disabled and weak at the wrist. A rear charger is extremely difficult for me to use.
With the Devil Dog Hard Charger I can use the charging handle completely left handed without coming off of the optic.
Was going to order the stubby handle but the included charging handle hasn't snagged anything yet, but I'm also not running 3 gun drills or wearing a plate carrier.
Installing it to a brand new rifle with no lubrication on your charging handle may cause some scraping of the coating as someone else mentioned, but that was going to happen anyways with or without the hard charger.
Great product, smooth as butter after cycling a few times. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to see the improvements of the next iteration.

This thing is solid, durable coating, can't go wrong. Other reviews stating the tendency to come loose are spot on, especially if you keep a tight grip on it. My only complaint is that it does not come with the much needed LocTite.
