First thing right away I like are the latches. I have a few cases and they don't compare to this. The latches have a retaining spring that holds them close to the locked position. This makes it very easy to open quickly and close if you are in a hurry. The case itself is sold. Though I would never test it myself, I'm confident this thing can handle a fall down the stairs.

A part of me wants to give this 4 stars. Only because it is advertised as having the ability to quickly change barrels. However finding the shorter or 300 BO is not available anywhere currently. That and the "sand" tone doesn't really match the FDE. That being said the long stroke gas system is amazingly simple and very easy to access. You can open the gas system up completely. The muzzle brake is very nice. Reduced recoil and closing the gas made it very easy to make a very tight group.

Just got one while another one was on order today. Completely black. Zero transparency whatsoever.
