updated review

Written on Oct 28, 2024

I received my new hawke crossbow scope, only to realize, that i made an incredibly stupid judgement on this scope, the one i gave a horrible review of. Ive had 3 speedring xbow scopes and ALL of them are built exactly the same with thr speedring and magnification as one piece. Im such a dumbass to post such a stupid review of a scope i didn't give a chance. Thus is probably an excellent scope, better than the one i have now because it actually has a 400 fps setting than current scope i have mounted. I'd probably recommend this item if had took more time and actually used it

Speed Ring /Magnetifier are one piece

The spoering and magnification are made as one piece, therefore if you choose 400 fps the magnification is to much at 20 yards when trying to sight it in.

Not what i expected

To be short, the speedring and magnification are made as sone piece, so if i change the speed setting, i change the magnification as well. This is no good. If im sighting in at 20 yards with 3.5-4X magnification what good is that going to do??? I dont like the design, it's crappy in my opinion. The Hawke xbow i currently have mounted has this same feature but the magnification and speedring settings are two pieces, not one. This is poorly designed and most definitely not worth 209.99.

Do not buy

Speedring and Magnification are made into one on this scope so to increase your fps means increasing the magnification which is a real shitty design

Speedring & Magnification are in one piece

Written on Oct 01, 2024

Upon inspection of this scope once i opened the package, I immediately saw what others complained about. The speedring and magnification are set in one-piece. So if i dialed it up to 415fps the magnification would be between 4x & 5x. I couldn't deal with that feature. I have a Hawke xbow scope that isnt set up like that and it works perfectly. This is simply a bad design. I KI crossbows but this scope i wouldn't recommend to anyone. Spend more money fir better quality like a Hawke or Athlon xbow scope, its well worth the extra $
