solid stock and looks great

I put together a light weight ar-15 for a 3 gun competition. This stock looks great and fit perfectly with no play on a primary weapons buffer tube. It still slides smoothly with out scratching the finish. Well worth the money.

I installed this myself using the instructions online. It took me a few hours but I got the job done. I’m very happy with the trigger pull now. The mark 4 22/45 lite came with a pretty gritty trigger. This made it crisp with no anticipation. Groups went from 4 inches to 2 inches with just this trigger at 15 yards. I used the factory trigger instead of the black one provided.

I purchased three ASR mounts over the last three months from optics planet as they came in stock. The 9mm 1/2x28 works perfectly on all my guns. But, the .224 1/2x28 had some bur or machining issue. It would not thread on any of my 1/2x28 barrels. I sent it back the next day. It’s been 2 weeks. We will see if they send a new one anytime soon.

I really like the backpacker stocks. I have been using the original ruger barrel with open sights because it’s threaded. I wanted the option to have another barrel with a scope so instead of buying a complete stock you can get the fore end. Matched perfectly!
Less than happy

I have two of these barrels. The one I just got today looks rushed to get it out the door. It does not fit tight like my other barrel. I tried three different ruger takedown receivers and all of them this barrel was loose. All my other barrels fit perfectly between the receivers. Also the scope rail is bent downward. I would go with the volquartsen barrel instead they are just much better if your going to spend $300. I really want to return it but I may never get another barrel.

I have a 700 in 300 blackout. The stock trigger was not adjustable and at 5lbs my groupings were bad. Installed a 2stage Timney and at 1.8 lbs I can group 5 rds of 220 grain subsonic Remington loads with a suppressor at 100 yards in a quarter size hole. I don’t think I will miss another coyote .

I wanted something to carry pretty much anything on my sport quad. I hunt, fish and trail ride all over Oregon. It holds my fishing bow from spot to spot along the river. I also can mount it to my whit water raft to carry a rifle or bow securely.

The Gator Gripp is perfect for attaching to a quad or my white water pontoon boat to carry my bow fishing bow, rifle, chainsaw.... you name it. Great product not too heavy and really durable. I looked at other ways to pack expensive gear in bulky cases. This is perfect.
