Review for
Leupold Mark 4 Mounting Rings
There are many good rings on the market to fit different requirements. For tactical or long range use where weight is not a concern there are none better than Leupold Mark 4, and they are now more of a bargain than ever. High rings, especially, demand quality.

Review for
Leupold Mark 6 3-18x44mm Throw Lever
I agonized for a while before buying this lever but finally succumbed. I spent many years as a precision machinist and know the economics involved but it still seems pricey. It is nevertheless an extremely well made and fitted part that adds a final touch to a very expensive scope. It's a fact of life that a reliable variable power scope will require effort to change power. This is an elegant solution that compliments the best tactical scope on the market. It would have been nice for it to be standard equipment but that would still cost. I guess that anyone shooting at this level long ago realized there's no such thing as free lunch.

Considering this lens is now discontinued my opinion may have limited value. I have only recently obtained it and a 88mm Prominar. The combination is impressive owing in no small part, I'm sure to the quality of the Prominar. Nevertheless, if your requirements can be met with this magnification range I strongly suggest you try to snap up remaining stock. The performance is outstanding even at extended ranges. The field of view, detail and color rendition are phenomenal for the price. Kowa thinks the new 25-60 Prominar wide/zoom will eclipse it and it may be worth twice the price for the magnification advantage, if you require it. I plan to acquire the new lens but I will keep this one too.

Review for
Kowa 88mm Prominar Spotting Scope
Kowa has always been a top choice and this Scope takes it to a new level. I got the 30Xwide angle ocular and the view is spectacular. I plan to get the new 25-60 wide angle/zoom eyepiece also. The performance should be even better with this HD lens. Not inexpensive but worth it.
