Very happy with this red dot and i got two of them and one of their 3x magnifyer.
Although there are some caveats or missing features that I don’t need but some people need those:
1- no shake-awake
2- the picatinny locking adjustment could be tricky but just adjust once
3-if you have OCPD, the red dot project on right top corner by default, cause a tiny tilt of the optic relative to picatinny after zero it! But many people can’t barely notice that

close to perfect with amazing price

Its weight might be issue for some but not a deal breaker for me.
I believe it's good enough for home defense, although reliability has to be tested. Its high build quality gives me enough assurance though.
I put it on my 10.5" AR15 at 3 o'clock position and have no issue so far and love it.
To make sure it holds the zero, I mark the adjustment nobs and used a tiny rubber band around them.
I love the buttons; I can find it easily without looking and it's very crisp.
It has not turned on accidental when carrying or any other time despite of some complains; Probably if you mount it at 12.
The cable switch is push button and just turns my last setting temporally which what i expect.
No comment on IR features as I don't have any NV goggle yet.
