I'm no small dude and it takes every thing I have to lift the mechanism to open it and I still only succeed on 2 out of every 5 tries. Whether it was machined incorrectly or the spring is too heavy, I am not gonna give myself a hernia to operate. Returning and getting a JMAC.

I received mine and immediately noticed the following:
1. Video Quality does not have the 120fps setting available.
2. No Gallery widget available in the carousel.
3. RAV is in the carousel but not mentioned in the manual.
4. No photo mode, Burst Count or Time Lapse settings available under Photo/Video.
5. Unable to stream the viewfinder to my smartphone using the Obsidian 4 app (android).
6. No gallery option on Obsidian 4 app
7. Attempted to rewrite firmware in case that was the issue, would not recognize the .bin file and start firmware upgrade process.

After speaking with ATN Tech Support, I was told they were shipped with muted firmware and that an update is 3-4 weeks out. Two of the issues were adjusted. To stream video if yours doesn't work, go into the App Manager of your phone and disable the ability of the app to use mobile data. Also, the firmware compares versions and if the version on your SD Card matches what is on the optic, it does not start the update procedure. (the manual needs updating)

Once the updated firmware is available and installed, I will adjust this review.
