You can buy the GL Core stock and this riser separately for a combined price that is less than if you buy it in one assembly (especially is you want to mix colors like I did with a black riser on a FDE stock). Beware this riser is high. It’s too high to use with my scope and mount (A Burris P.E.P.R. cantilever mount). I ended up taking the riser off and won’t use. Also, the tilt up design in the front is not that great and wouldn’t stay locked in position if you needed to use it.

This bolt carrier has a very nice smooth finish. Haven’t finished the build yet, but this is perfect and was a great deal.
